On Wednesday (February 16), Yak took to his Instagram account to premiere his new look, which finds him sporting a low-top fade hairstyle. Fans were instantly taken back to Kodak Black’s breakout year in 2016 when he had a similar hairstyle, and according to the Florida rapper, his new hairdo is having a very strong effect on some of his female followers.
“This girl say that haircut gon’ get you pregnant by me. Like, she gon’ get me pregnant,” he said in the Instagram video.

Many could be wondering why Kodak Black opted for a new look, and it looks like it could have something to do with his new album Back For Everything that’s slated to drop on February 25. Artists tend to go for a new look when it comes time to lock into album mode.
It has to be a good feeling for Kodak Black to be hearing women wanting his affection, especially after DreamDoll ignored his advances over the last few weeks. The Bronx rapper put the nail in the coffin when she took to Instagram to shut down a possible romance between her and Kodak.
“YALL NEED TO STOP GASSING THIS N-GGA THIS IS BTS FROM OUR VIDEO SHOOT,” she commented on one of his since-deleted Instagram posts. “YOU WILL NEVER BE MY MAN KODAK PLEASE STOP.”
