#Kanye West will be on Jimmy Kimmel night after election

Billionaire rapper and write-in presidential candidate Kanye West will appear on the first episode of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” following Tuesday’s presidential election, the network has announced.

West, who launched his own White House bid in July, will appear on Wednesday’s episode of the late night talk show, just one day after Americans will have decided between President Trump and former Vice President Biden.

The network said that Kimmel’s Tuesday evening broadcast was being preempted due to 2020 election coverage.

It is not clear what West, who has been vocal about his intention to run for the presidency in both 2020 and 2024, referring to his effort as “walking for president,” will be promoting during the appearance.

He is the only name listed for Wednesday’s episode, apart from musical guest Gregory Porter.

The billionaire sneaker mogul was originally slated to release his 10th studio album “Donda: With Child” in late July, but the record was never put out.

In his 2020 presidential effort, West has fought an uphill battle for ballot access, managing to get himself on the ballots in a total of 12 states.

The former ally of President Trump renounced his support for the current commander-in-chief upon launching his own White House run.

Still, he faced accusations due to his friendship with Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner that he was working with the GOP to hurt Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s chances.

West rejected those accusations, arguing repeatedly that he was “not running for president, I’m walking,” a reference to his longer term goal of ascending to the presidency in 2024.

“People keep on saying, ‘I think that y’all — you and Republicans — are in cahoots,” the sneaker mogul said in an interview on Nick Cannon’s podcast in September.

Sitting together at West’s Cody, Wyo. ranch, Cannon replied that, “They’re saying that they are paying you to do what you’re doing, to be a distraction.”

“Bro, can’t nobody pay me. I’ve got more money than Trump,” the rap superstar said in response.
