#Kakushigoto Movie Gets July 9 Release Date, New Teaser and Visual

A new teaser has revealed that the upcoming Kakushigoto film, titled Kakushigoto – Himegoto wa Nandesu Ka- (Kakushigoto -What is a Secret- ) will premiere on July 9. A new visual for the film was also released. 

The teaser’s YouTube description says that Kakushigoto – Himegoto wa Nandesu Ka- is a compilation film that will include new scenes that are not in the series. Additionally, the film will provide another conclusion that was not in the series.

The returning staff includes Yuuta Murano as director, Ooshimashitakashi as scriptwriter (this time in collaboration with Murano), Shuhei Yamamoto as character designer, Kouhei Honda as art director, Noboriharuko as color designer, Teppei Satou as photography director, and Yukari Hashimoto as music composer. Ajia-do Animation Works is in charge of the animation production.

The film was first announced in December 2020, with the anime’s Twitter page describing it as something that could be enjoyed even without watching the series. Both the series and film are based on the manga series by Kouji Kumeta, which ended in 2020 with 12 volumes.
