#Kagaku Manga Survival TV Anime Airs October 2024, Releases New Visual & Staff Details

A new key visual and information on production staff have been released for the previously announced Kagaku Manga Survival TV anime adaptation. The series will begin broadcasting in Japan on the NHK E-Tele programming block in October 2024. 

The main production staff involved with the anime series includes Masahiro Hosoda (Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods) as director, Isao Murayama (Toriko, Bakugan) as series screenwriter, Noh Gil-bo (Kagaku×Boken Survival!) as character designer, and Kei Yoshikawa (Love of Kill) as music composer. Gallop is in charge of the animation production.

In addition, a visual previewing the anime’s two main character was also released.

An anime film adaptation of the series’ Jintai no Survival volumes was released in 2020. Another anime film, Shinkai no Survival followed in 2021. Both were produced by Toei Animation with Gallop. 

Kagaku Manga Survival is based on the long-running full-color Korean manhwa series, where it is published by I‐seum. The manwha is created by Hyun Dong Han and Jung Wook Kim and has been published since 2008. MiraeN releases the series as a webtoon, while Asahi Shimbun Publications releases the series in Japan. No Starch Press releases the some volumes of the manwha in English.
