#Kacey Musgraves Sells Ted Cruz Diss Shirts for Texas Benefit

Kacey Musgraves, a proud native Texan, is selling a new t-shirt that takes a dig at Texas Senator Ted Cruz. The shirt is a response to his decision to skip town for Cancun while his state has faced unprecedented snow-related crises this week. The new design reads “Cruzin’ for a Bruzin,’” with proceeds benefiting Casa Marianella, Feed the People Dallas, and the American Red Cross of Central & South Texas. “Texas is cold,” Musgraves wrote. “I can be cold.” Check it out below.

Earlier this year, Musgraves told Rolling Stone that her follow-up to her 2018 breakthrough Golden Hour would arrive this year. In 2020, Musgraves updated Golden Hour’s “Oh, What a World” for Earth Day and made guest appearances on new music by the Flaming Lips and Troye Sivan. Her voice also appears in the English dub of Studio Ghibli’s new film Earwig and the Witch.
