Protoje shared the visuals for the Koffee-assisted “Switch It Up,” a braggadocious ode to the good life that sees the artists trading bars about loyalty, success, and protecting their energy. The Winta James-produced track serves as the latest single from Protoje’s In Search Of Lost Time.
The Xtreme Arts-directed clip plays out like a family affair, going from a decadent dinner to a night at the casino with cameos from In.Digg.Nation Collective artists like Lila Iké, Sevana, and Jaz Elise, along with Royal Blu and Jesse Royal—artists who all provide additional background vocals to the track’s hook along with reggae mainstay Chronixx.
“We’re all not in any form of competition, but we challenge each other to be as best as we can be knowing that what each one does really accentuates the other,” Protoje told FADER last August. “Seeing what Chronixx is doing, Koffee is doing, Shenseea, Jada [Kingdom]…there are lots of people that are really putting work and time into their craft.”
