#Infant dies after being found unconscious in NYC home, man charged

The 3-month-old boy who was found unconscious at his Lower East Side apartment earlier this week died on Thursday — and his mother’s boyfriend has been arrested in connection to his death, police sources said.

Little Morgan Kesean had no visible signs of trauma when he was discovered inside the Water Street apartment at NYCHA’s Vladeck Houses about 8:10 p.m. Monday.

But investigators believe Kesean’s mother’s boyfriend, 30-year-old David Patrick, shook the tot, causing brain and retinal damage, police sources said.

The boy died after spending two days at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, police said.

The boyfriend had been babysitting the infant the day he was found, sources said.

Patrick was arrested late Wednesday on charges of assault, reckless assault and acting in a manner injurious to a child, cops said.

The charges may be ungraded pending the results of Kesean’s autopsy.
