#Travis Scott, Young Thug, and M.I.A Share Video for New Song “Franchise”: Watch

Travis Scott has released his latest single “Franchise” (via Cactus Jack/Epic). The new song features Young Thug M.I.A. and is produced by Chase B. It arrives tonight with a new video directed by Scott and White Trash Tyler. It was shot on location at Michael Jordan’s Chicago area mansion. The visual includes Travis and Thug chilling Jordan’s giant estate, M.I.A. wearing a suit made of fresh flowers and hanging with a massive herd of sheep, a pool full of synchronized swimmers, and more. Watch it below.

In a new interview with Zane Lowe, Scott discussed connecting with M.I.A. on the new song. “She reached out to me for something for her album and we tracked it in London,” he said. “She’s just one of my favorite artists as humans.” He continued:

When I finished the song, I couldn’t think of nobody else that I could probably just maybe like, body this shit. You know what I’m saying? Body this shit like as hard as like anyone else, any other rapper, any other artists. And just that presence, man. We ain’t felt this presence in a long time. I’m just trying to get this gig shit like right man. We got to get better, right? You know what I’m saying? Like all of this, the energy man, music, beats, raps, God! Everything, she’s the illest of all time.

The single art for “Franchise” was created by iconic American artist George Condo, who made a series of paintings for Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Earlier this year, Scott shared collaborations with Kanye West (“Wash Us in the Blood”), Rosalía (“TKN”), and Kid Cudi (“THE SCOTTS”). His latest solo single was “The Plan,” which appeared in the new Christopher Nolan movie Tenet.

In addition to releasing music, Travis Scott recently teamed up with McDonald’s for a new promotional meal, and premiered his Kid Cudi collab in the online multi-player video game Fortnite.
