Asian-American small businesses have been hit as hard as any other in the city by the pandemic and the lockdowns, but they plainly qualify as the wrong one of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s “two New Yorks.”

You see, these minority-owned biz get no special handouts courtesy of the mayor’s “racial inclusion and equity task force,” co-chaired by First Lady Chirlane McCray. Its focus is on boosting women-, black- and Latino-owned firms — and awarding them a special chunk of city-government business.

Her recent roundtable on the city’s “support for entrepreneurs of color” didn’t even mention the Asian community.

Or, as City Councilman Peter Koo (D-Flushing) puts it: “We are sick and tired of constantly having to remind this administration that we exist.”

In short, it’s not just schools Chancellor Richard Carranza and his minions who consider Asians to be “white-adjacent”: This ugly racism is endemic in the de Blasio administration.
