The Manhattan OBGYN who was arrested by federal authorities for allegedly sexually abusing dozens of patients pleaded not guilty to the charges at his arraignment Wednesday night as a judge set a $1 million bond in the case.

Robert Hadden, who allegedly abused former presidential candidate Andrew Yang’s wife, will be subject to home confinement as part of his bail terms, Manhattan federal court judge Robert Lehrburger said.

At the remote arraignment, an alleged victim named Jessica Sell Chambers urged Lehrburger to remand Hadden into custody pending his trial.

“He has injured many, many, many women and he needs to be held accountable for that,” Chambers said.

“I think the court needs to ensure he has no chance to flee or hurt himself or anything like that,” she added.

Prosecutors asked that he be remanded, noting he’ll likely spend the majority of his life in prison if convicted and he has a substantial amount of cash to flee the country.

Hadden’s attorney argued that he’s not a flight risk because he is the sole caretaker of his severely disabled adult son.

He was arrested in New Jersey Wednesday and charged in an indictment that alleges he abused his victims, including minors, from 1993 until 2012.

Hadden had previously been arrested and cut a deal with state prosecutors in 2016, which allowed him to avoid any jail time while agreeing to turn over his medical license and to register as a sex offender.
