#Fate/Samurai Remnant Game Releases 2nd Trailer

KOEI TECMO has released a new trailer for the upcoming Fate/Samurai Remnant action-RPG, which is set to launch globally on September 29 (September 28 in Japan).

This new trailer has a slightly bigger focus on the game’s cast and previews more dialogue between ronin protagonist Iori Miyamoto (Kengo Kawanishi) and his Saber-class Servant (Hibiku Yamamura), although there is still a healthy serving of action gameplay footage.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is set in Edo period Japan and sees seven pairs of Masters and Servants (including Iori’s sword master Musashi) battling each other in a ritual called the “Waxing Moon Ritual,” with the prize being the wish-granting Waxing Moon’s Vessel. The gameplay will allow players to swap between Iori and Saber and has several explorable towns.

Fate/Samurai Remnant will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. Kinoko Nasu is supervising the title with Rei Wataru as character designer and Hikaru Sakurai and Yuichirou Higashide as story supervisors. KOEI TECMO GAMES is both the publisher and developer, while Aniplex is credited with production cooperation. CloverWorks is the animation production company for the opening animation sequence.
