#Howard Stern mocks Aaron Rodgers’ toe injury in latest QB rant

Howard Stern continues to keep Aaron Rodgers in his crosshairs.

The self-proclaimed “King of All Media” took aim at the Packers quarterback once again on Monday, after previously chiding Rodgers over his decision to be unvaccinated against COVID-19. Stern also opined earlier this month that Rodgers probably had CTE.

For Monday’s apparent shade session, however, Stern mocked Rodgers’ toe injury, which circulated in Sunday’s news cycle ahead of the Packers’ eventual loss to the Vikings, 34-31.

“This f—king Aaron Rodgers he’s a scumbag! Because he lied! Forget about the part that he didn’t take the vaccine, he lied to everybody,” Stern seethed, according to Mediaite. “He put people in danger. People have families. He’s a f—khead and the NFL should be ashamed of themselves.”

Stern then pondered aloud if Rodgers had the injury assessed by a doctor or Joe Rogan.

“Now I hear he has a toe injury. When he had the toe injury — did he go to the doctor or did he go to Joe Rogan? Who fixed his toe?” Stern said. “I bet you he went to a doctor, so he goes to doctors for everything else, but on the vaccine, he’s listening to Joe Rogan.”

Rodgers has been at the center of controversy this month following comments he made about the COVID-19 vaccines. The quarterback, who tested positive in early November, later addressed his vaccination status after telling the media in August that he was “immunized.”

In a now widely-seen interview on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers said he consulted with Rogan for advice on his COVID-19 diagnosis and that they’d become friends. During the virtual sit-down with McAfee, which took place earlier this month, Rodgers explained that he is allergic to one of the ingredients in Pfizer and Moderna’s mRNA vaccines. He applied for an exemption from the league for homeopathic antibody treatment to qualify him for vaccination status, but the league declined. He subsequently missed the Packers’ Week 9 game against the Chiefs but returned a week later.

Rodgers missed most of the team’s practices last week as a result of an injury that was deemed “COVID toe”. Nevertheless, he did throw for 385 yards and four touchdowns in Sunday’s game.

Following the loss to the Vikings, Rodgers said the injury was “very, very painful” and that it was worse than turf toe.

“I’m just going to have to get through the bye and hope I can get some healing over the bye week,” he said, according to USA Today.

Stern, in Monday’s segment ripping Rodgers, continued to rail on anti-vaxers.

“Stop with this Trumpy bulls–t. What happened to this country?” Stern asked. “What are we turning into? Germany? Pre-World War II looking for the Führer? The unvaccinated people are dying, the vaccinated people are not dying unless they had some preexisting conditions… I’ve had three of these vaccines already and I’m fine.”
