#HIDIVE to Stream Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero, The Eminence in Shadow Season 2, & Feast of Amrita

At its industry panel at Anime Boston 2023, HIDIVE has announced that it will exclusively stream Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero, The Eminence in Shadow season two, and Feast of Amrita.
Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero is a fantasy comedy anime series that will premiere later in 2023. The anime is based on the manga by tofu, which was first serialized in Houbunsha’s COMIC FUZ website in March 2019 under the FUZ Comics label. Seven tankoubon volumes have been released as of October 2022.

Seven Seas Entertainment releases the manga series in English and describes it as:
The Demon Lord has been defeated by a brave warrior, but is destined to arise again! Ten years later, he emerges early from his slumber to exact his revenge. However, he returns to find that neither the world nor the legendary hero are what they once were. Can the powers of darkness triumph over…a shut-in slob?
Meanwhile, HIDIVE will also stream the upcoming second season of The Eminence in Shadow. It streamed the 20-episode first season as it aired in Japan from October 5, 2022 to February 15, 2023. It is based on the isekai light novel series by Daisuke Aizawa with illustrations from Azunishi. It was first published by Kadokawa on November 5, 2018 and has released five volumes as of December 2022.

HIDIVE describes the synopsis of the first season as:
Some people just aren’t suited to playing the part of the flashy, in-your-face hero or the dastardly, mustache-twirling villain with larger-than-life panache. Instead, they operate in the shadows and pull the strings of society through wit and cleverness. That’s the role Cid wants to play when he’s transported to another world. Cid spins a yarn or three and becomes the unlikely leader of the underground Shadow Garden organization that fights against a menacing cult (which he totally made up). However, there’s a catch even his wild imagination didn’t see coming: the cult he concocted actually exists, and they’re beyond displeased that his power fantasy just got in the way of their evil plans!
Additionally, the original horror anime film Feast of Amrita will also stream on HIDIVE, following its May 2023 theatrical release in Japan. The film is a prequel spinoff to Saku Sakamoto’s 2018 anime horror film Aragne: Sign of Vermilion, which HIDIVE also licensed in March 2020. It was screened at several locations including Tokyo’s Cine Libre Ikebukuro, Aichi’s Cinema Skhole, and Osaka’s Cine Libre Umeda.

HIDIVE describes the story of Feast of Amrita as:
On their way home from high school, Tamahi and some classmates are shocked as they witness someone fall from the rooftop of a nearby apartment. Panicked and confused, they rush to the building only to find it deserted. As Tamahi wonders about this, she has the uneasy feeling they are being watched. What is the strange presence around her…
Lastly, HIDIVE will also stream the 2020 psychological thriller anime series Pet from Sentai home video later this year. It was originally streamed worldwide by Amazon in 2018.
