#Hello Sunshine Launches Incubator For Female Content Creators and Entrepreneurs (Exclusive)

Having had proven success with launching such female-founded brands as Reese’s Book Club, Shine Away, The Home Edit and Fair Play, Hello Sunshine is now looking to use its golden touch to help more women content creators.

The Hello Sunshine Collective is an incubator that offers a customized mentorship experience that helps entrepreneurial women take their brands to the next level through amplifying their unique and personal narratives, using support across Hello Sunshine’s vast network of resources in content creation, marketing, business strategy, strategic partnerships and other advice from the company’s leadership.

“I often think of the lost stories of my grandmother’s and mother’s generation that weren’t told simply because of the lack of opportunities for women to create and distribute their art. These artists and entrepreneurs had such limited experiences and opportunities for expression during that time,” Hello Sunshine founder Reese Witherspoon said in a statement. “We’re in a new era for women to succeed and excel. The Hello Sunshine Collective builds on everything this company has achieved and will be rocket fuel for so many promising and talented individuals.”

The inaugural cohort is comprised of 15 women with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise, with a combined social reach of more than 59 million: composer Emily Bear, former WNBA player Sydney Carter, wellness coach Alex Elle,  cake artist Yolanda Gampp, fitness trainer Jeanette Jenkins, lifestyle influencer Rachel Martino, The Cool Mom Co. founder Lizzy Mathis, The Korean Vegan founder Joanne Molinaro, disability advocate Sophie Morgan, Color Me Courtney founder Courtney Quinn, TikTok personality Yasmine Sahid, musical artist Shiadanni, TikTok personality Kat Stickler, streaming star Valkyrae and Diary of an Honest Mom founder Libby Ward.

During their year in the Collective, these creators will learn how to expand their brands across new direct-to-consumer opportunities. The Home Edit is an example of the possibilities: After Hello Sunshine acquired the design and organization company in 2022, it has scaled its reach and its business through, among other strategies, partnerships with Walmart and the Container Store.

“To truly change the story for women, you need to change the storytellers,” Hello Sunshine head of direct-to-consumer Maureen Polo said in a statement. “As we grow our Direct-to-Consumer offerings at Hello Sunshine, building a hands-on, bespoke talent incubator was the perfect next evolution for how we empower women in this space. I could not be more excited to work with the collective’s talent to accelerate their success through our advisory model and the opportunities within the Hello Sunshine flywheel, all personalized to their identity and goals.”

The Hello Sunshine Collective will mark its official launch with a party at the Sheraton Grand in downtown Los Angeles on Oct. 20, sponsored by the National Women’s Law Center, featuring a musical performance by Maeta.
