Lana Del Rey has shared “Blue Skies,” a cover of a century-old standard written by Irving Berlin. The song appears on the soundtrack to the Apple TV series The New Look, curated by her frequent producer Jack Antonoff.

In 2023, Lana Del Rey released her ninth album, Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd. It was nominated for five awards at the 2024 Grammys including Album of the Year but won zero, in what was seen as one of the more egregious snubs of the evening (including by us, who rated the project at No. 3 on our Best Albums of 2023 list). This year she’ll share a country music album called Lasso, also produced by Antonoff.

The New Look’s soundtrack also features The 1975’s cover of “Now Is the Hour” by Bing Crosby and “White Cliffs of Dover,” originally by Vera Lynn, covered by Florence and the Machine.
