Animal Theratopia is a new healing project for females, collaborated by the acclaimed animation production studio Toei Animation and the game/music production company MAGES. The project's official YouTube channel has started streaming a two-minute first anime teaser movie.

Under the theme of "Animals x Handsome Men x Music," the project was launched in April 2020. The animals, who are lovable by day, become handsome boys by night, and invite adults who are tired of their daily lives to join them for showtime. It has released three "Song & Drama" CDs, and a web radio program "AniTopi Wave" hosted by Yuto Suzuki (Nerori) has been streamed since June.

The anime teaser movie is produced by Toei Animation, and Mai Matsuura, known for her works for the KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm series, serves as the character designer of the boys in human form. She says, "I have been preparing for the release of this movie since I received the offer for this work. Based on the rough illustrations by the original designer Nakahara-san, I created the character designs that wouldn't look out of place when animated, so the design is simpler than the usual series for women. We hope you enjoy seeing them who are moving and expressive, look cool and cute…!"

Meanwhile, the fourth "Song & Drama" CD is set to be released on January 27, 2021. Preview videos for the solo songs by Hinoki (CV: Kento Ito) and Nerori (Yuuto Suzuki) in the album are now streamed.

"Animal Theratopia" synopsis:

The place found by you, who have been so tired, is a paradise of animals and a place to meet them, "Animal Theratopia." You open the door, and you see…, the animals who transform into humans…! They have dreamed of living with people and been looking forward to meeting their destined partner. At night in the facility, they spend a secret healing time with the people who are tired of their daily lives. A new Shiba Inu named Yuzu, who was picked up by the facility's caretaker, meets a black cat Sweet Olive who is longing for a life with humans…!
