#Harness the Power of Godzilla With Their Own Energy Drink

Have you ever wondered what it was like welding the power of the greatest kaiju? The newly announced GODZILLA ENERGY will (hopefully) help you harness the strength of the monster and (hopefully) use it for the greater good. The drink, which was unveiled yesterday by Cheerio Japan was inspired by the creatures rampage in Tokyo in Shin Godzilla, even featuring the scene in the film where Godzilla destroyed the city on the can.

The drink, which is a striking purple colour to match the purple heat ray from the film, comes in a 500ml can with 42mg of caffeine per 100ml for 210mg of caffeine and 630mg of arginine per can, which Cheerio claims is the highest amount of caffeine per 100ml in a can in Japan. 

The drink goes on sale on April 30 in vending machines in the Chubu, Kansai, and Okinawa regions in Japan on April 30, with some nationwide chains stocking the drink as well. Unsurprisingly, the Kanto region (which houses Tokyo) won’t see the drink in vending machines.
