#Halloween’s Bill Moseley to Star in Dead By Midnight Y2Kill

“Halloween’s Bill Moseley to Star in Dead By Midnight Y2Kill”

Arriving on April 26th, 2022, is a new horror anthology, Dead By Midnight Y2Kill, from Indican Pictures. Starring horror icon Bill Moseley and a team of horror legends, the collection will be available for purchase on DVD and On-Demand through digital platforms such as Apple TV, Prime Video, Vudu/FandangoNOW, Google Play, DirecTV, and more. The 96-minute anthology consists of five terrifying short films and a series of devilish digital ads, each more deadly than the last. Dead By Midnight Y2Kill is not yet rated.

From directors Davi Crimmins (The Bert Show), Eric Davis (Dead By Midnight: 11 p.m. Central), Hannah Fierman (V/H/S, Creepshow), and more, the official synopsis describes Dead By Midnight Y2Kill as a horror anthology carving out a new brand of terror with original storytelling starring iconic horror legends, including Kane Hodder (Jason Voorhees in four of the Friday the 13th films), Bill Moseley (Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre II), and Scream Queen Linnea Quigley (The Return of the Living Dead) for five terrifying segments each more deadly than the last. Tying together each piece of the anthology and all the murderous mayhem is the host, Temptress of Terror (Fierman)!

The tagline warns the Temptress of Terror better watch her back because the vengeful Mistress of Midnight, played by Erin Brown (Masters of Horror), is out to prove that she’s still the most hellish host, especially on the most devilish night of the year! “It’s Halloween at local television station WKIZ when the malicious Mistress of Midnight arrives to host her annual horror movie marathon Dead by Midnight.” But beware cult horror fans, “because what she hasn’t said is that those who watch will be Dead by Midnight!”

“Good friends are hard to find. They’re even harder to kill.” Moseley will play the role of a murderous 9-foot-tall cartoon cat in “Jasper,” written by Melissa Haas (#PrettyFunny, Donut Ex Machina) and directed by Torey Haas (#PrettyFunny, Frankenstein Created Bikers), who invades the real world in search of his human BFF. That’s Best. Friend. Forever. And. Ever. The cat’s best friend to ’til death does them part is Julia Walters, who takes extreme measures to protect her wife and discover the truth about her past traumas.

The shocking Dead By Midnight Y2Kill also stars Chris Gore (Attack of the Show!) as himself and Hannah Alline (Ozark) in an unknown role and pro wrestler Logan Creed, who is making his film debut as GutCruncher, a giant, blue demon from hell. Also appearing in the horror anthology is Hunter U-92 from Disney+’s Loki, character actor Derek Russo, as Snacks.

Dead By Midnight Y2Kill is from boutique entertainment label and film distributor Indican Pictures, founded in 2004 and has released over 300 films worldwide. Indican may not be a household name yet. Still, the distributor’s films have won two Independent Spirit Awards, three FIPRESCI awards, five PRISM awards, two NAACP awards, and one ALMA award. Randolph Kret and Shaun Hill founded the company. It is best known for releasing challenging material like Boondock Saints (Norman Reedus), Tuvalu (FIPRESCI WINNER), Pure (Keira Knightley), Hybrid (Independent Spirit Award Winner), Only The Brave (internment of Japanese Americans), The Black List V. I-III (HBO Original Series), and Guest Artist (Jeff Daniels), among others.
