Haigakura TV Anime Returns to Broadcast on July 3, Unveils New Trailer

A new trailer has been unveiled for the Haigakura TV anime series, which confirmed the show’s rebroadcast in Japan on July 3, 2025. The anime will restart its broadcast starting with the first episode, before debuting new episodes beginning with the eighth episode on August 21, 2025.
The series first aired in Japan on October 7, 202, before it was placed on indefinite hiatus due to production delays in November 2024. The seventh episode aired as scheduled on November 19, 2024, before re-airing the first six episodes on November 25, 2024. A total of 13 episodes are scheduled to broadcast.
Junichi Yamamoto (The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion) is directing the anime series, with Yu Murai (The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion co-scriptwriter) as series screenwriter, Masaki Sato (Record of Ragnarok) as character designer, and Yuki Kurihara (Blue Orchestra co-composer) as music composer. Typhoon Graphics is handling the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

- • Kaito Ishikawa as Tenko
- • Lynn as Hakushurin
- • Hiro Shimono as Ransaiwa
- • Satoshi Hino as Sonto
The anime is based on the fantasy manga series by Shinobu Takayama, which ran in Ichijinsha’s Comic Zero Sum WARD magazine from January 16, 2008 to May 16, 2015. The manga then transferred to Zero-Sum Online on September 18, 2015, where it has been serialized since. Seventeen tankobon volumes have been released as of October 2024.
The series is currently streaming on Tubi, Amazon Prime Video (in selected territories only), Anime Onegai, ADN, Muse Asia, and REMOW’s It’s Anime YouTube channel.
