#Gwyneth Paltrow on What Her Daughter Steals from Her Closet

Gwyneth Paltrow has raised one fashionable daughter!

In a pretaped interview with Zanna Roberts Rassi for Today with Hoda & Jenna that aired on Wednesday, April 17, Paltrow, 51, revealed why Apple Martin loves to go into her closet.

“She loves to go into the archive and try things on, and it’s really fun,” said Paltrow. “She’s absconded with many ’90s Calvin Klein skirts, tube skirts, and all kinds of slip dresses. She’s very into the ’90s as all the kids are apparently right now.”

The actress shares the 19-year-old with ex-husband Chris Martin. The two are also parents to son Moses, 18.

In January 2023, Apple showed her love for all things style when she stepped out at Chanel’s haute couture show at Paris Fashion Week.

She sat front row wearing a black-and-white checked dress and blazer, her hair parted in the middle, and a rosy pink lip.

“The Chanel Couture show was my first fashion experience, and I am so incredibly grateful to Chanel and their incredible team for having me. It was so exciting to see the art in the designs, and the theme of the line emerge throughout the show,” she shared in an interview with Vogue that same month.

Speaking about her own personal style, she told the outlet that she doesn’t consider herself “super trendy.”

“I love sweaters and oversized cardigans, loafers, and a good pair of comfy Levis,” she said. “The most important thing for me is feeling like my genuine self when wearing an outfit; I’m aiming for a mix of classic ’90s and cool grandpa.”

Paltrow revealed why she is “in awe” of her daughter while speaking with PEOPLE in November 2023.

“It’s so wonderful having a daughter because you have this amazing best friend, and we like to do the same stuff, and she’s so funny, and she’s so smart. It’s amazing,” the mom of two said.

Paltrow noted that her kids have several things in common, including being “very intrigued by fashion and into fashion.”

“They both really like fashion as an art form and as a form of expression,” explained Paltrow. “It’s really interesting to see them both choose that. My son, really it’s kind of how he tells the world who he is through his cool style.”
