Gundam GQuuuuuuX Invites More Guests to Anime Expo 2025
Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. has announced that they have invited more guests to join their special event titled “Gundam Rising in Los Angeles –Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Special Event” at Anime Expo 2025.
The guests include Japanese voice actors Simba Tsuchiya, who voices Shuji Ito, Shinji Kawada, who voices Challia Bull, and Yuki Shin, who voices Char Aznable. They will join the previously announced director Kazuya Tsurumaki, series supervisor and co-screenplay writer Yoji Enokido, Gundam executive producer Naohiro Ogata, and Japanese voice actress Tomoyo Kurosawa, who voices Amate Yuzuriha (MACHU).
The event will take place at the Peacock Theater on July 3rd at 11:30 AM PST.
Furthermore, attendees will receive exclusive giveaways, which include a shopper bag, one of the three special illustration postcards, a Gundam Card Game promotional card, a GUNPLA Trial Kit RX-78-2 Gundam, and a Gundam headband.
Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. also announced that the event will be streaming live on Gundaminfo on YouTube and other platforms. The screening segment will not be included in the live stream. There will also be an autograph session with the special guests and a Gundam GQuuuuuuX booth in the Bandai Namco Group exhibit (#SH-2406) at the Exhibit Hall.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX will also be at Japan Expo 2025 with a panel, a special movie screening, a joint signing session with the Evangelion series, and more.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is the first major collaboration between Studio khara, famous for the EVANGELION movie series, and Sunrise and the new installment of the Gundam series franchise. Mazuya Tsurumaki was directing the series.
Gundam GQuuuuuuX premiered globally on April 8th on Amazon Prime. The series is described as:
Amate Yuzuriha is a high-school student living peacefully in a space colony floating in outer space. When she meets a war refugee named Nyann, Amate is drawn into the illegal mobile suit dueling sport known as Clan Battle.
