Gridman’s Akira Amemiya Draws Cover Art for Upcoming Transformers Generations 2025 Book
The upcoming Transformers Generations 2025 guidebook will feature cover art by Akira Amemiya, the director of the SSSS.Gridman anime and its sequels.
The cover in question has been released on TRIGGER’s X (formerly Twitter) account.
Amemiya previously directed the Transformers 40th Anniversary Special Movie (in addition to storyboarding, unit directing, handling animation direction, and doing some of the key animation). In an interview posted by TRIGGER, he expressed his interest in working on a 41st anniversary project as well.
The Takeshobo-published Transformers Generations 2025 will be released on June 19, 2025 JST for 3,905 yen (~US$27.35). It is part of a long-running series and is edited by Hero-X. The book’s contents were not revealed at the time of writing.
