The upcoming Gridman Universe crossover movie has received a main trailer and visual that shows the cast of the SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynzaenon series together. 

The trailer also previews the theme song “uni-verse” by Masayoshi Oishi and a number of action cuts. Elsewhere, SSSS.Gridman‘s Rikka is seen wondering about the reason behind the reappearance of kaiju and the potential end of the world, while the start shows protagonist Yuta considering about confessing to Rikka.

Gridman Universe is set to premiere in Japan on March 24. Reprising their roles from both SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon are Akira Amemiya as director, Keiichi Hasegawa as scriptwriter, Masaru Sakamoto as character designer, Mayumi Nakamura as sub-character designer, and Shirou Sagisu as music composer. TRIGGER is the animation production studio with Graphinica handling the 3DCG.

Meanwhile, the returning cast includes Hikaru Midorikawa as Gridman, Yuuya Hirose as Yuta, Yume Miyamoto as Rikka Takarada, Soma Saito as Sho Utsumi, Junya Enoki as Yomogi Asanaka, Shion Wakayama as Yume Minami, Yuuichirou Umehara as Koyomi Yamanaka, Chika Anzai as Chise Asukagawa, Ryousuke Takahashi as Calliber, Katsuyuki Konishi as Max, Aoi Yuuki as Borr, Matsuya Masakaze as Vit, Mayumi Shintai as Rikka’s mother, Kenichi Suzumura as Knight, and Karin Takahashi as Nidaime.

SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon aired during the Fall 2018 and Spring 2021 anime seasons, respectively. Both had 12 episodes. They are inspired by Tsuburaya Productions’s 1993 Gridman: The Hyper Agent tokusatsu series.
