For several months, Billie Joe Armstrong has been releasing covers of various songs on YouTube as part of a series he dubbed “No Fun Mondays.” Today, the Green Day frontman has announced a full covers album—also called No Fun Mondays—collecting various recordings from the series, including songs by John Lennon, Billy Bragg, the late Adam Schlesinger, Wreckless Eric, and many more.
