A Georgia Institute of Technology frat house was placed under quarantine due to a COVID-19 outbreak.

The university announced Saturday there had been 33 new cases on campus, 17 of which were linked to the same Greek Life organization, news station WSB-TV reported.

The school didn’t name the organization affected, but the Sigma Epsilon chapter confirmed there was a cluster among its members.

“For the past several days, we have dealt with a spike in COVID-19 cases among our members,” the frat wrote Saturday in an Instagram post.

“As of three days ago, our house was locked down to non-residents, and we have been working closely with our Alumni and Volunteer Corporation, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and Georgia Tech Administration to test all other members of our chapter and isolate those positive members, in compliance with requests from administration.”

At least 251 students have tested positive for the virus at the college, which returned to classes Aug. 17, according to WSB-TV.
