# Bloomberg: Take-Two Interactive Software to shut down Roll7, Intercept Games

Take-Two Interactive Software will shut down Private Division subsidiary studios Roll7 and Intercept Games, according to a Bloomberg report by Jason Schreier.

Roll7 is the London-based studio behind the OlliOlli series and Rollerdrome, and was acquired by Private Division in November 2021. Take-Two Interactive Software plans to close the studio and offer severance agreements to its staff.

Intercept Games is the Seattle-based studio behind Kerbal Space Program 2, which is currently in Early Access for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Take-Two Interactive Software filed a notice with the Washington State Employment Security Department revealing plans to close an office in Seattle and cut 70 jobs, or roughly the number of people who worked for Intercept Games.

In April, Take-Two Interactive Software said it would reduce the company’s workforce by approximately five percent, or around 600 employees, by December 31, 2024.

In a statement, Take-Two Interactive Software vice president of communications Alan Lewis said the company “is not providing additional details” on the lay-offs announced in April, and that it “continues to make updates to Kerbal Space Program 2.”
