Following up on the initial reveal of some fresh R-Type shoot ’em ups, NIS America has confirmed plans to publish both in the west. R-Type Final 3 Evolved is coming to PlayStation 5 in the west in spring 2023, followed by R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC in summer 2023.

Building on the side-scrolling action of R-Type Final 2, R-Type Final 3 Evolved features exclusive stages created by Kazuma Kujo, all of the homage stages from the first Stage Pass and an update that adds in new playable ships, a new multiplayer mode, global rankings and more. NIS America’s release will support Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish language options.

R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos boasts an Unreal Engine 5 remake of the two turn-based strategy entries, and this will mark the western debut for R-Type Tactics II. Check out a brief teaser trailer:
