On today’s stage for Shuichi Nimaru‘s light novel series Osamake: Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won’t Lose, known in Japan as Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy, at KADOKAWA Light Novel Expo 2020 today, the full trailer for the upcoming TV anime adaptation based on the series was released, previewing the opening theme “Chance! & Revenge!” by Riko Azuna, alongside a new key visual featuring all the characters, including the newly revealed voice actor for Mitsuru Abe.

 

 

Osamake: Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won't Lose

 

Voicing Mitsuru Abe will be Takuma Terashima (Shiroe in Log Horizon).

 

The story of Osamake: Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won’t Lose centers around Kuroha Shida, a high school student who is convinced that her childhood friend and next-door neighbor, Sueharu Maru, is in love with her. Kuroha’s dreams are shattered, however, when Sueharu admits that he has feelings for Shirokusa Kachi, a beautiful girl who is the school idol, an accomplished writer, and a gravure model. When Sueharu discovers that Shirokusa already has a boyfriend, Kuroha suggests that she and Sueharu embark on a plan of “revenge” together.

A key visual for the upcoming Osanajimi ga Zettai Makenai Love Comedy TV anime, featuring the main cast hanging out in a high school setting.

 

Takashi Naoya (Real Girl) directs the series and designs the characters at Doga Kobo, with sub-character designs from Atsushi Soga and series composition by Yoriko Tomita. Osamake is scheduled to premiere on April 14 at 9:00 PM on AT-X
