#Frontier Works Unveils Utano☆Princesama, Haigakura & Mushoku Tensei Events at Anime Expo 2024

Frontier Works has unveiled its special panels and events at this year’s Anime Expo, which marks the company’s fourth appearance at the convention. Its activities include a Utano☆Princesama ALL STAR STAGE -MUSIC UNIVERSE- concert, the world premiere of the upcoming Haigakura TV anime series, and a food booth feature of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation.   

Throughout the convention, the company will exhibit prominent displays within the Animate Group booth at booth #3700. Displays include MF Books (a novel label in collaboration with Kadokawa) titles such as The Rising of the Shield Hero, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, The Magician Murders Don’t Bend Down, and more. 

Merchandise will also be available for purchase including goods for Maniani — an original character from Frontier Works. 

Here are the details for what fans can expect from Frontier Works at Anime Expo: 

Utano☆Princesama ALL STAR STAGE -MUSIC UNIVERSE- Concert Rocks AX 2024

Shining Production and Raging Entertainment are collaborating to bring the ALL STAR STAGE -MUSIC UNIVERSE- concert to Anime Expo 2024. It is a 3DCG concert that features a joint performance by idol music units ST☆RISH, QUARTET NIGHT, and HE★VENS, and will take place on July 4, 2024 at The Novo. 

The 3DCG Utano☆Princesama concert will showcase a program of performances and songs similar to the one held in Japan earlier this year in Makuhari Messe. The LED will spotlight animated characters performing with unique American production elements, as well lighting effects and other elements to create an immersive experience for fans. No English subtitles will be shown during the performances. 

Tickets are going on sale for US$90.00 (plus applicable fees). Exclusive event light sticks are also on sale for US$40.00 and redemption will be at the Novo and distributed on the day of the event after check in. The light sticks will be random for those that purchased them online. 

Fans can also purchase one of three variant light sticks at the Animate Group booth in the Exhibit Hall. Other merchandise will also be available for purchase including booklets, IDOL T-shirts featuring various members, cloth posters, and can button badges. Availability may vary on the day of the event.

Haigakura TV Anime World Premiere

Frontier Works will be hosting the world premiere of the action fantasy TV anime series Haigakura. The anime adaptation is based on the 2008 manga series written by Shinobu Takayama. 

The premiere will take place on July 5, 2024 in Room 402AB from 8:00 PM PST to 9:00 PM PST.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will also be featured at a food booth at Anime Expo’s Gilbert Lindsay plaza. Curry rice and drinks, such as ramune, will be available for purchase during the show. Each meal set of curry rice and drinks will include one random can badge illustration from the fantasy anime series.
