#Free Fire: Tiger Shroff Cheers for India in the World E-Sports Cup
Southeast Asia’s tri-nation E-sports tournament will begin soon and will be played between gamers from India, Pakistan, and Nepal. It is among the first tournaments under the World Esports Cup of Free Fire. While players from the three nations are prepping for the tournament coming next month, Bollywood celebs are now endorsing the Esports Cup. Gaming in India is now on the rise as big celebs are promoting Esports.

Tiger Shroff’s Campaign

Tiger Shroff is a famous Indian actor, dancer, and martial artist, who is particularly loved by children and youth. He is now urging fans to join him in the #GameHaiToFameHai campaign; translated to English means if you got a good game (skills), only then can you achieve fame.

In a 33 seconds video created by India Today Gaming, Tiger Shroff was seen trying to rehearse and come up with a creative way to promote the cup. In the end, he resorts to getting tired and directly urging fans to support India in the tri-nation tournament.

“Esports has shown a great potential in India as well as globally. I’m really excited to cheer for the Indian gamers in this action-packed mega tournament and urge fans to join us, extending their support to the participants,” Tiger said in an interview.

With this Tiger connects the underdog phenomenon of Esports in the country to the mainstream phenomenon of Bollywood. This is not the first time he has been involved with esports. He was also the brand ambassador for the 2021 Esports Premier League, which was a grand nationwide success. Tiger has a strong passion for sports and martial arts. Moreover, due to his immense impact on Gen Z, he is often involved in such endeavors.
