A new Calvin Klein commercial features a 35-second snippet of an unreleased FKA twigs track, a tantalizing minor-key cut that places her angular vocals over minimalist trap production. The brand posted the clip, shot by the photography duo of Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, early Wednesday morning, and twigs reposted it later, expressing her appreciation for the opportunity.

“It’s an honour to be the new face of calvin klein and to have worked so closely with my dear friends @mertalas and @macpiggott to create something that i believe reflects me as a woman and artist,” she wrote in an Instagram caption. Other stars of the spring 2023 “Calvin or nothing” ad campaign include BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Kendall Jenner, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

After dropping her CAPRISONGS mixtape last January (The FADER’s 46th favorite record of 2022), twigs collaborated with Yung Lean on his Stardust track “Bliss,” shared a short film titled Playscape, and released a one-off single called “killer.”
