Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut opens at 23,969 retail sales.

Famitsu Sales: 8/16/21 – 8/22/21

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of August 16, 2021 to August 22, 2021.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut was the only new release to chart in the top 10, opening at 13,745 sales on PlayStation 5 and 10,224 sales on PlayStation 4 for an first week total of 23,969 retail sales.

The original game opened at 212,915 retail sales back in July 2020.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 72,527 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 12,638 units, the Xbox Series family sold 5,782 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 943 units. Next-generation consoles continue to face stock issues.
