#Falcom Aims to Launch New Trails RPG by September 2022

Developer Falcom has some big plans for next year according to its latest financial results report. Chief among them is the goal of launching a new game in the Trails series by September 2022. 

Falcom is also looking to start developing Switch games internally in 2022, starting with the Switch version of The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails. It will be a big year for the Ys series, as well, with the long-running saga celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2022. While no details were revealed, the report mentions that additional products are planned beyond the budget version of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox on PlayStation 4. 

We’ll have to wait to find out exactly what’s in store next for both the Ys and Trails series.
