The Extreme Hearts sports idol anime has released its second key visual and some new cast information. 

The newly announced cast members are Kana Ichinose as Michelle Jaeger and Asami Seto as Ashley Vancroft. Both characters are members and singers of the Snow Wolf rock band, with Michelle playing the guitarist and Ashley playing the bass.

Extreme Hearts is set to premiere on July 9 in Japan. The original anime is set in the near future where people of all ages use the Extreme Gear support item to engage in the popular Hyper Sports. The story follows a high school singer named Hiyori Hayama, who initially has nothing to do with Hyper Sports until a certain incident.

The anime’s staff includes Masaki Tsuzuki (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha creator) as the original creator and scriptwriter, Junji Nishimura (Vlad Love) as director, Waki Ikawa (The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc light novel illustrator) as original character designer, and Issei Arakaki (Vlad Love) as character designer. Shuuichi Kawakami (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Reflection: The Comics mangaka) and Takuya Fujima (Warlords of Sigrdrifa) are credited sub-original character designers, while Chinami Sekine (Special 7: Special Crime Investigation Unit Episodes 8 and 9) and Azusa Okazaki (Arte assistant animation director) are serving as sub-character designers. Seven Arcs is the animation production company.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Ruriko Noguchi as Hiyori, Miho Okasaki as Saki Kodaka, Kana Yuuki as Sumika Maehara, Ayaka Fukuhara as Yukino Tachibana, Ari Ozawa as Lise Kohinata, and Chinami Hashimoto as Nono.
