Each year, Samsung takes the stage at events to show off its phones, smartwatches, headphones, and more. But Samsung’s annual fall Galaxy Unpacked event is always exciting. If you want to watch Samsung unveil its latest folding phones, the new Galaxy Watch 4, and more, tune in to the Galaxy Unpacked live stream on August 11th at 10 am ET / 7 am PT.

What can you expect to see? New Galaxy Z Flip and Fold phones are the obvious picks, with leaks online suggesting the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will get some big upgrades like the S-Pen. But then we’re also getting the first smartwatch now that Samsung and Google teamed up with WearOS, and potentially some new Galaxy earbuds.

Let’s break down a few of the leaks and rumors so that you’ll have a good idea of what to expect.

Galaxy Z Flip 3

The Galaxy Z Flip 3, with its unique clamshell folding design, is expected to feature a slightly redesigned exterior with dual 12-megapixel cameras and a bigger secondary cover screen display. That secondary screen displays notifications, time, date, battery information and even doubles as a live view for taking selfies. We’ve seen a few leaks already, but the latest renders from Evan Blass show off that new design in four new colors: yellow, purple, green, and black.

We don’t have too many other details about the newest Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. Still, previous leaks suggest that while the screen will remain 6.5-inches, it’ll now come with a 120Hz refresh rate, thinner bezels around the display, and a less noticeable crease. Additionally, we’re expecting a Snapdragon 888 processor along with an improved in-display 10-megapixel selfie camera.

As for the bigger Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 5G, and yes, that’s the awful name, rumors suggest an improved and more durable IPX8 water-resistance rating, 120Hz displays on the inside and outside, the Snapdragon 888 processor, and more.

However, the biggest addition will be Samsung’s S-Pen stylus coming to the Fold 3. That’s a big deal as Samsung will not release a Galaxy Note 21 this year. Lending credence to this rumor is leaked images from 91Mobiles that show Samsung releasing an optional S-Pen stylus case for the new Fold 3.

While the folding design and S-Pen are exciting, it’s the expected 7.55-inch inner and 6.23-inch external screens with 120Hz refresh rates that have most potential buyers excited. And again, early rumors suggest the crease in these new folding phones won’t be nearly as visible as previous generations.

Leaks from Evan Blass also claim the Fold 3 will pack three better 12-megapixel rear cameras with a main sensor, ultrawide, and a telephoto zoom. The other two cameras (five in total) are selfie cameras, with the outer selfie shooter coming in at 10-megapixels and only 4-megapixels on the inside. We’re not expecting the front-facing camera to be under the display, but it is a possibility, so we’ll have to wait and see.

Either way, the new Galaxy Fold 3 should come with two beautiful screens, capable cameras, an S-Pen stylus for improved usability, and hopefully a more pocket-friendly price tag.

We’re also expecting Samsung to debut a newly redesigned Galaxy Watch 4 in three different size options, which should fit more people’s wrists. Leaks from SamMobile claim we’ll get a regular Watch 4 classic, then another model that’s likely an “Active” option.

Here’s everything we know so far about the Galaxy Watch 4. Both watches are expected to be the first devices to run the new WearOS 3 software, a combination of Samsung and Google’s watch operating systems.

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 2 are also expected to make an appearance. And while they probably won’t look too different from the previous model, they’ll reportedly come in several new color options, have improved battery life, and better noise cancellation. How to Watch Samsung’s August 2021 Unpacked Event

Those looking to catch the event live and watch it all unfold can tune in to the Galaxy Unpacked live stream on August 11th at 10 am ET / 7 am PT. It’ll also be live-streaming on YouTube.

Considering it’s a YouTube video, you’ll be able to watch it pretty much anywhere—be it a browser, on your phone, smart TV, or anywhere else with a screen and an internet connection.

Samsung could pull a few surprises out of its sleeve during the show but we’ll have to wait and see.
