The Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack sequel anime has received a key visual featuring its cast of characters. Three new cast members were also revealed.

The new cast additions are Yoshino Nanjou as Anetoro, Sayumi Suzushiro as Sunomiya, and Kaori Maeda as Orihara.

Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack is set to premiere in January 2023. It is based on the Kodansha-published manga by Nanashi, which began in 2017 and has 14 tankoubon volumes as of August 2022. 

Kodansha describes the manga as:

Nagatoro is a freshman in high school who loves teasing and torturing her older male classmate! What’s her motivation and why does Senpai put up with her? Does Nagatoro just want to create misery for Senpai? Or maybe she secretly likes him?

OLM is producing Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack instead of the first season’s Telecom Animation Film, while Shinji Ushiro (Mazica Party, Tomica Bond Combination Earth Granner, Yokai Watch) is replacing Hirokazu Hanai (Dances with the Dragons) as director. Season 1 character designer Misaki Suzuki, series composer and scriptwriter Taku Kishimoto, and music composer Gin (Busted Rose) are reprising their roles.

Meanwhile, the returning cast includes Sumire Uesaka as Nagatoro-san, Daiki Yamashita as Senpai, Mikako Komatsu as Gamo-chan, Aina Suzuki as Yoshi, Shiori Izawa as Sakura, and Nana Mizuki as Buchou. 

The first season of the anime ran from April 2021 to June 2021 with 12 episodes. The manga is serialized on Magazine Pocket and published under the Kodansha Comics label.
