It launches in Detroit on September 29.
“There’s vomit on his sweater already / Mom’s spaghetti.” That line from Eminem’s song “Lose Yourself” is probably the Oscar-winning song’s most memorized section aside from its hook. But it’s not going to stay in the world of music: On September 29, Eminem will open a restaurant called Mom’s Spaghetti on 2131 Woodward Ave in his hometown of Detroit. Watch a Tim & Eric-style ad for it above via The Detroit News.
Eminem first teamed up with Detroit restaurant company Union Joints to create Mom’s Spaghetti pop-ups to promote his 2017 album Revival. The latest iteration of Mom’s Spaghetti will boast take-out spaghetti with and without noodles as well as a spaghetti sandwich. The storefront will also include “The Trailer,” which is being described as a “store for Stans.” Another Eminem reference!
