Another mobile game is getting ready to shut its doors, and this time it’s Echoes of Mana, which first launched on April 27, 2022. The free-to-play adventure featuring classic heroes from the Mana series will ultimately have lasted just over a year, as Square Enix has locked in the end of service date for May 15.

In a style similar to other end of service announcements, the team behind Echoes of Mana says they’ve come to the conclusion that it “would be difficult to continue maintaining the app experience” with the same level of quality. Along with this announcement comes the end to the sale of Spirit Crystals, though players will be able to use all the in-game currency they have now until service ends this May.
