“#Cowboy Bebop Anime Coming to Netflix on October 21”
The Cowboy Bebop anime will be available on Netflix worldwide from October 21, about a month before the live-action series‘ November 19 premiere.
Cowboy Bebop was originally released in 1998. The anime ran for 26 episodes, with its main staff including Shinichirō Watanabe as director, Keiko Nobumoto as series composer, and Toshihiro Kawamoto as character designer.
A movie titled Cowboy Bebop: The Movie (Cowboy Bebop Tengoku no Tobira for the Japanese version) that took place between Episode 23 and 24 was released in 2001. Both were produced by Sunrise.
Crunchyroll describes the anime series as:
The Bebop crew is just trying to make a buck. This motley lot of intergalactic loners teams up to track down fugitives and turn them in for cold hard cash. Spike is a hero whose cool façade hides a dark and deadly past. The pilot Jet is a bruiser of a brute who can’t wait to collect the next bounty. Faye Valentine is a femme fatale prone to breaking hearts and separating fools from their money. Along for the ride are the brilliant, but weird, hacker Ed and a super-genius Welsh Corgi named Ein.
