“#Disney+ Teases Star Wars: Visions Anime Anthology”
The Walt Disney Company has made a raft of announcements across multiple franchises this afternoon in its latest Investor Day presentation, with one announcement of particular interest to anime and Star Wars fans in Star Wars: Visions.
The anthology is said to bring together renowned names from Japanese animation to reimagine and reinterpret the Star Wars universe and is slated for release on Disney+ in 2021. The remainder of the announcements centered on 10 live-action series and feature films all set in the Star Wars universe, which means that fans will not be left wanting for Star Wars on Disney+.
