#Disfigured Christmas ornament is ‘not approved’

All I Want for Christmas is … Ewwwww! 

Mariah Carey doesn’t want a lot for Christmas. There is just one thing she needs: her “not approved” ornament to be excluded from your Christmas tree. 

Holiday hilariousness is in full effect thanks to a delightfully disfigured decoration fashioned to resemble the “All I Want for Christmas” chanteuse, 50, posed in her iconic shimmering-red Santa jumpsuit.

Instead of radiating the same beauty and winter-wonderland whimsy featured on Carey’s legendary 1994 “Merry Christmas” album cover, the deformed effigy is giving off grisly Grinch vibes — complete with a lopsided head and a wonky left eye. 

And it’s nothing but a Christmas miracle that Mimi is taking it all in stride. 

“My husband and I exchange ornaments every year and this year he got me @MariahCarey which is very festive!” tweeted CNN’s Kyle Blaine Thursday, alongside a snapshot of the odd-looking bauble. 

Upon seeing Blaine’s tweet, accompanied by her unsightly seasonal knick-knack, the “Vision of Love,” diva retweeted his post, saying: “This is…Not approved,” punctuating her disappointment with a grimace emoji. Despite her dismay, Carey ended her tweet by letting Blaine and her other 21.6 million Twitter followers know her spirit was still merry and bright. “…It’s the thought that counts,” she added. 

Later, Blaine said he was roundly congratulated for getting “completely and utterly wrecked by MC.”

Ugly ornaments aside, the eternal queen of Christmas has a lot to celebrate this year, including her successful “Oh, Santa” collaboration with Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson, a new line of Christmas cookies — and of course, her 25-year-old “All I Want for Christmas” anthem soaring to the No. 1 spot of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart Monday, after garnering 812 million streams. 

Not to mention the COVID-friendly merry little road trip she’s currently taking with her and Nick Cannon’s 9-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan.
