#Diana Ross Sings Beyoncé “Happy Birthday” at Star-Packed Renaissance Stop in Front of Zendaya, Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet and More

The stars were out in force once again for Beyoncé’s third and final Renaissance Tour concert at SoFi Stadium on Monday night.

After impressive celebrity turnouts for the first two SoFi gigs, Monday’s event coincided with Beyoncé’s 42nd birthday amping up the hype even more with much speculation and excitement at what may happen and possible guest appearances.

Among the stars who joined the teeming thousands of red and black balloon-wielding Beyoncé fans on her big day were Spider-couple Zendaya and Tom Holland, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Chris Rock, Adele, Lizzo, Katy Perry, Kate Hudson, Normani, Brandy, Kim and Khloé Kardashian.

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were also in attendance. The rumored couple was spotted by The Hollywood Reporter‘s spy chatting and spending time together in a private VIP section above the floor seats. The appearance marked the pair’s first major public outing together amid months of reports that they have been quietly dating though neither side has officially confirmed (which, to be fair, isn’t their style).

The birthday festivities were well-timed, as Queen Bey took the stage to start the show at precisely 9:04 p.m., to coincide with her birthdate.

After 11 p.m., Diana Ross hit the stage to announce, “Hello, L.A.!” Rumors surfaced on X early Monday that the legendary performer would be the surprise guest on Bey’s birthday and those whispers turned out to be true as Ross took to the stage to sing her hit “Love Hangover.” She followed it up by leading SoFi Stadium with “Happy Birthday” but not before Beyoncé ran to the stage to greet her and wrap her arms around her with tears welling up in her eyes. “I’m here to celebrate Beyoncé’s birthday,” she said as Bey mouthed, “I love you.”

Ahead of performing her track “Flaws and All,” Beyoncé delivered a heartfelt birthday speech to a sold-out crowd expressing her gratitude to her fans, her family and the original members of the record-breaking group Destiny’s Child. “My soul is full. I’m so thankful, I’m trying not to cry,” she said as she fought back tears. “I’m thankful to be alive. I’m thankful to be on stage. I’m thankful to look out and see your faces. I’m thankful to be able to provide a safe space for all of y’all. I’m thankful for music, for the ability to heal myself through music which then heals all of you.”

She continued by shouting out her mother Tina Knowles, father Matthew Knowles and husband Jay-Z, even nodding to her critically acclaimed 2016 album Lemonade. “I’m thankful for every tear, for every year. I’m thankful for my children. I’m thankful for my husband. I’m thankful for all the shit we’ve been through. I’m thankful for my beautiful father who is here tonight; I thank you for his sacrifice, for his pain. I’m thankful for my mother, my beautiful queen. I’m thankful that we all have the ability to make lemonade out of our lemons.”

Of Destiny’s Child, she said, “I’m thankful for Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, LeToya Luckett, LaTavia Robertson. I’m thankful for all of you guys who have been with me since 1997. I’m thankful for every flaw, for every stretch mark, every FUPA. I thank you that I’m here at fucking 42. I’m grateful for joy and I thank God. I thank you, God.”
