#Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba

Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train will be available for streaming in Southeast Asia via the Bilibili streaming platform on June 16.  

The news comes from Bilibili Thailand, which tweeted that the movie will release on 11:00 AM (GMT+8).  It also tweeted that Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Brunei will get access to Mugen Train.

A sequel to the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series, Mugen Train was released in various SEA countries from late 2020 to early 2021. It premiered in Japan in October 2020. The movie is the top-grossing movie in Japan as well as the #1 highest-grossing movie of 2020.

Next in line for Demon Slayer is the second season of the series, which will premiere sometime in 2021. The series and movie are produced by Ufotable and based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotōge.

It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.
