“Deaimon Original Soundtrack by Ren Takada to Release on June 22”

The soundtrack for the currently ongoing Deaimon anime adaptation is scheduled to be released on June 22, 2022. It will contain 44 background and insert songs from the anime.

In addition to BGM tracks, the album will also include insert songs like “Joyo Manju no Uta” which is sung by protagonist Nagomu Irino (Nobunaga Shimazaki), and “Yae ni Saku” which was written and composed by Ayano Tsuji and sung by supporting character Mitsuru Horikawa (Minori Suzuki). 

The CD cover will feature an illustration by Deaimon manga author Rin Asano.

The music was produced by Ren Takada, a string instrumentalist who has composed music for numerous films, dramas, stage shows, and commercials. He made his solo debut in 2002 with the album LULLABY and has so far released seven original albums. At the 59th Japan Record Awards, he received an excellence award for his 2017 album Night Riders Blues. He released his latest album FRESH in March 2019.

The Deaimon manga began in 2016, while the Encourage Films-produced anime premiered on April 6, 2022.  The story is set in an old wagashi (Japanese sweets) store in Kyoto. It is serialized in Kadokawa Shoten’s Young Ace seinen manga magazine and has been collected into thirteen tankobon volumes.
