#Cursed By Light From October 1

The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light will stream on Netflix from October 1, three months after the movie’s Japanese theatrical release on July 2.

Before The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light, The Seven Deadly Sins manga by Nakaba Suzuki received an anime movie adaptation with the subtitle of Prisoners of the Sky in 2018. There are also four anime seasons, the most recent being this year’s The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement, which ended in June.

The staff of Cursed by Light includes Takayuki Hamana (Sorcerous Stabber Orphen) as the director, Rintarō Ikeda (The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement) as the scriptwriter, Rie Nishino (The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement) as the animation character designer, Yumiko Kuga (Umibe no Étranger) as the art director, Imazato Katsuragi (Sorcerous Stabber Orphen) as the color designer, Shinyo Kondō (Sorcerous Stabber Orphen) as the photography director, and KOHTA YAMAMOTO and Hiroyuki Sawano (86 EIGHTY-SIX) as the music composers. Studio DEEN is the animation production company.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Yūki Kaji as Meliodas, Sora Amamiya as Elizabeth Liones, Misaki Kuno as Hawk, Aoi Yūki as Diane, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Ban, Jun Fukuyama as King, Yuhei Takagi as Gowther, Māya Sakamoto as Merlin, Tomokazu Sugita as Escanor, Yūichi Nakamura as Dahlia, and Shin’ichirō Kamio as Dubs.
