The classic Japanese folktale of Momotaro gets a fantasy road trip twist when Peach Boy Riverside debuts as part of the Crunchyroll Summer 2021 Lineup. Peach Boy Riverside is one of THREE series coolkyousinnjya is involved with this season, with the other two being Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S and The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace. The original manga launched on Neetsha’s webcomic site Weekly Young VIP back in 2008, and a remake followed in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine R—featuring illustrations by Johanne—in 2015. Kodansha USA licensed the latter for English-speaking audiences.
