#Cosplayer, Love Live! Voice Actor Liyuu Shows Off Her Dragon Appeal Cosplaying Tohru from Dragon Maid

Chinese cosplayer and voice actor Liyuu, known for voicing Keke in Love Live! Superstar!! as well as signing the opening theme to Hatena☆Illusion, appeared on the Anison Shinkyoku Cover Desho de show‼ segment of the Douga, Hajimetemimashita daily web variety show on YouTube this week as none other than Tohru from Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid! Liyuu also performed the iconic first opening theme song to Cardcaptor Sakura, “Catch You Catch Me”, sadly not in costume.

While the video is available worldwide, there are no English subs. Liyuu and the hosts, Airi Suzuki (known for singing the opening theme song for the second season of KAGUYA-SAMA: LOVE IS WAR) and Masayoshi Oishi (singer and songwriter who wrote the opening theme for Kemono Friends), discussed some of Liyuu’s past cosplays, how she came over from China, and Liyuu’s love for Kyoto Animation, hence why she dressed as Tohru.

Douga, Hajimetemimashita is a YouTube channel set up by the Japanese TV station TV Asahi with daily videos that are set to a theme that features voice actors and Japanese talents. Saturday is the release of Anison Shinkyoku Cover Desho de show‼ ️featuring popular Japanese va’s and talents performing covers of their favorite anime songs.
