Chinese cosplayer/singer/voice actress Liyuu has released her new artist visuals for her first album “Fo(u)r YuU” and a music video for the album’s lead track, “Endless Vacation.” Ahead of the album’s CD release in Japan on February 9, 2022, the “CLUB” -themed electro tune was digitally released today on November 20.
Liyuu, born in Shanghai in 1997, has become popular through her activities on social media, attracting over 1.5 million followers in total. Because of her love for Japanese anime, she decided to start her activities in Japan, then made her professional anisong singer debut in January 2020. She has also voiced Keke Tang in Love Live! Superstar!! and has performed as a member of the anime’s VA unit Liella!
For her first album “Fo(u)r YuU,” visuals and music videos that cross over four themes and Liyuu’s sound to expresses her charm from various angles will be produced. The album title means “for you”, and its “Fo(u)r” also means the four themes, and its “YuU” means Liyuu’s “yuu.”
LiYuu said of “Endless Vacation”: “This is the second song from my first album, ‘Fo(u)r YuU,’ and unlike the first song, ‘Lulu Kawaima,’ it has a strong dance music flavor! I’ve been looking forward to the completion of this song ever since we finished recording it, and it turned out to be even cuter and cooler than I imagined! I would be glad if you’ll listen to it a lot!”
