Conway’s new album La Maquina is out Friday April 16.
The prolific streak of Conway the Machine shows no sign of stopping. In the past year he’s shared the projects No One Mourns the Wicked, If It Bleeds It Can Be Killed, and From King to a God. He also turned in a very charming edition of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series. This Friday he’ll share another album, La Maquina. It comes with a feature packed tracklisting featuring Conway’s Griselda cohorts Benny the Butcher and Westside Gunn, 2 Chainz, and Jae Skeese & 7xvethegenius of Conway’s label Drumwork Music Group. “Scatter Brain,” a new single out today, enlists Spillage Village’s J.I.D and southern rap legend Ludacris to unite two generations of hip-hop talent in one song. Each rapper on the song comes prepared to outdo the other two, and the results speak for themselves. Listen above.
