#Code Orange announce new album, share “Take Shape” feat. Billy Corgan

Hardcore band Code Orange have officially announced their next album. Self-produced and engineered by Steve Albini, The Above is their follow up to 2020’s Underneath, and is out September 29. The record’s tracklist includes the previously-released “Grooming My Replacement“ and the new song “Take Shape,” which features Smashing Pumpkins‘ Billy Corgan. “Take Shape” also comes with a music video directed by drummer Jami Morgan that continues the storyline of the lead single’s visuals.

“I have been working on the concept for this video, and others to come, for about a year and a half. I am so thankful to have been able to sit under the learning tree of Max Moore and our DP Eric Robbins,” says Morgan of the video in a press release. “They allowed me to sit in on every minute of this process from hirings to scouting, all the way to final coloring. Being that deep was a revelation, and I have found a new love along the way.” Watch it below.
